Join the Mistresses of Midnight Street Team!
I'm looking for fans of my books to help me promote them. The best promotion is word of mouth and it's something I find is difficult to come by, so I'm looking for a street team. A steet team is a group of wonderful people who help an author by spread the word about their books, normally by posting on your social networks about them or sharing/retweeting posts by the author, posting a review online at major websites or on your blog if you're a professional reviewer, talking on groups and message boards about my books, and telling your friends. Sounds easy doesn't it, and in return you get some great rewards.
Who can become a Mistress of Midnight?
I'm looking for people with review blogs, who talk regularly on book related message boards, groups and pages, or who talk regularly about books on their social networks. I will also consider you if you will post professional sounding reviews on places like Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Apple iBookstore, Goodreads, Shelfari and other major sites (by professional, I mean more than a couple of lines squealing about the book - readers prefer reviews where they get a feel for the book, the characters, and what you enjoyed or didn't like about the story, hero, heroine, etc)
What do you expect from us?
As I mentioned above, I would love to put together a team of supportive readers who will do honest reviews of my books, talk about them on message boards, pages and groups, on their social networks, and help me with things like growing my newsletter subscribers, blog followers and social network reach by recommending your friends and fellow readers to my books. Generally, I want your help spreading the word about my books.
What can I expect from you?
A fun time, hopefully, and the chance to read ARCs of my books for review, get your hands on book goodies and other rewards such as exclusive prize draws.
How many people are you looking for?
Places are limited and I'll be carefully considering each application I receive. I will be honest and say now that I won't be able to accept everyone who applies. My decisions will be based on reviews you've done in the past and other factors.
